The Lucid Air EV, Becomes the First Car Equipped with Dolby Atmos

The Lucid Air EV will be the first generation car that will come with an inbuilt Dolby Atmos. The EV automaker announced today that its emphatic Sounds system will now come with an impressive sound experience. The standard features will incorporate inside the Air Grand Touring and Air Dream Edition models as of now.

The Lucid Air EV will come with a high proliferation of Dolby Atmos as it seeks to provide its customers with an amplifying atmosphere in the next-gen car. Lucid Motors is planning to toss in six months of streaming for free with both the Grand Touring and Dream Edition. The Lucid Air EV is built with a multitude of 21 speakers setup, which can handle the emulsifying buds of Dolby Atmos.

The Surreal sound system also comes along with directional acoustic signaling for notifications, warnings, and other information.  “Along the inner pillars of the vehicle, we very carefully place the overhead speakers to optimize the full upper surround area.” Lucid Motors Senior Vice President of Design Derek Jenkins said.

Dolby Atmos has been around for years but never got channelized as an A/V platform inside the living room. In 2019, Dolby Atmos announced its immersive high-resolution audio platform known as Dolby Music on digital services like Amazon Music, Deezer, and Tidal.

The interesting part being the HiFi streaming plan that the users would require to access the platform. With Atmos Music, the outlook mobilized as it offered the listeners access to audio with more clarity and ineptitude outside of their homes.

As far as the latest developments are concerned, the EVs car across the states could foresee inbuilt Dolby Atmos speakers in their car in a few years.
