Sonos has officially announced its newest product and it’s something eye-catching for tech lovers. With its unveil coming in the next few weeks, it is looking to disrupt the portable speaker market with a bang. The speaker with the cheapest price at just under 1 pound is on its way to transform music into another level. Roam offers brilliant sound with Airplay 2, auto WiFi and Bluetooth switching, and much more.
Last week, leaked images of the Sonos Roam were floated around social media, as we got a sneak peek of how it’s going to unfold.
The ultra-portable speaker has officially unleashed as we got more details on its specifications and features.
Here is the list of some of the new features instilling in the Sonos Roam:

- AirPlay 2 support as well as Alexa and Google Assistant

It can handle the submerge in the water for about 30 minutes at 1 meter, and it comes with an IP67 rating which protects the portable speaker from depletion to natural factors like sand, dust, etc.
Sonos claims that the Roam enters sleep mode to preserve the battery life, which is expected to launch at 10 hours initially. It will also come up with a USB-C to power up with the included cable and more conveniently, it’s got Qi wireless support built into work with any of your existing chargers.
