Apple’s FaceTime Makes the Biggest Update in History

As per the trusted reports, Apple, in its latest operating system, iOS 15, introduced the FaceTime feature just like Android and Windows OS. It is regarded as one of the most significant updates to FaceTime to date. FaceTime is an application of for making audio and video calls.

Over the last few years, the company has been dependent on audio and video calls to stay in touch with family, friends, and colleagues. Several applications such as Zoom and Skype witnessed a boom over the past few years, whereas remained behind due to its limitations.

Hence, in iOS 15, Apple makes FaceTime, more like a Zoom application, keeping some of its bits in itself.Senior Vice President of Software Engineering at, Craig Federighi, states that the main goal behind updating FaceTime was to make it feel more comfortable and natural for its use. Further, the video interface of FaceTime gets an overhaul along with a new grid view. There are no more, the random sized tiles. They have been replaced with the neat grid of similarly sized squares of all the callers. The grid view helps the users to understand who is speaking. Like the portrait mode on Apple iPhones, the will have a nice artistic touch to the background during the call.
